I hadn't had it for a long time. I had almost forgotten about it, until someone mentioned it the other day! It brought back memories of my younger years:)<br /><br />Tuna on Toast<br /><br />1 cube butter<br />1/2 cup flour<br /><br />stir over medium heat until sizzling<br /><br />2 cups milk<br />2 cups water<br /><br />pour in with butter stirring occasionally until sauce thickens<br /><br />1 can cream of <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">chicken</span> soup<br />3 cans tuna<br /><br />Cook up some toast, and top with sauce!<br />I served with mixed vegetables! Kids like to mix their veggies into the sauce! I DO!!! While doing my shopping, I always look for the clearance tags. I keep my eyes open for anything that I can use now or later!<br />Right now I am keeping my eyes open for Christmas gifts. This is actually a great time, stores are <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">clearancing</span> items to make room for the Holiday items, coming in!<br />I went down <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">Wallmarts</span> clearance, and found my daughter this great gift. Then, you just chop the chop the cabbage into large pieces, because it shrinks, Chop up the carrots, potatoes, and <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">kabasa</span> into nice sized pieces, and add it all to the pot! It was so good! Drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Add cabbage to hamburger mixture and steam until cabbage is done. Place half of the crescent rolls in the bottom of a well greased 9x13 pan to form bottom crust. Put cabbage and hamburger mixture on top and then add cheese and cover all with the remaining crescent rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. My son was saying GROSS the whole time it was being made, but when he took a bite, He quietly said,”This is good!”..</div><br /><br /><div><br />I took a lb of ground beef, browned it with one onion chopped into it. </div><br /><br /><div>Then added 6 cups water, </div><br /><br /><div>8 beef bouillon cubes, </div><br /><br /><div>1 bag frozen mixed veggies, </div><br /><br /><div>1 can corn</div><br /><br /><div>1 1/2 packages of taco seasoning(We make our own. i will post the recipe later.), </div><br /><br /><div>1can black beans,</div><br /><br /><div>2 cans pinto beans, </div><br /><br /><div>2 cans diced tomatoes.</div><br /><br /><div>Salt and Pepper to taste! Cooked for about 1/2 hour on medium heat!</div><br /><br /><div><br />When serving, I garnish with a spoonful of sour-cream, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, and a few tortilla chips crushed on top. </div><br /><br /><div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
